How to Play

Players must first select a PUZZLE TYPE. There are six to choose from, including:

Puzzle Types

GENERAL

AND

HIDDEN

NO HARM-NO VOWEL

ONE WORD

SCRAMBLE

Each puzzle has a title. All clues in the puzzle are related to the title in some way.

GENERAL Puzzles

In the GENERAL Puzzles TYPE, there are clues shown below the grid. Players can scroll right or left through this list of clues as they play.

Match the clues with the words in the grid. The words can be vertical, horizontal, diagonal, forward or backward in the grid. Once a word has been found in the grid, highlight that word using your finger (if using a device with a touchscreen) or mouse (if using a PC). After highlighting a word in the grid, the app will automatically cross that clue off the list.

As soon as all the clues are found and the words in the grid are highlighted, players will be given two choices. NEXT PUZZLE advances players to the next puzzle in the list. PUZZLES takes players back to the list where they can select a new puzzle or replay any previously completed puzzles in that category.

There is also an arrow at the top left of each puzzle. Clicking this arrow takes players back to the puzzle list within that TYPE (in this case, GENERAL). Clicking this arrow again takes players back to all PUZZLE TYPES, where they can select a different TYPE.

AND Puzzles

Each clue in this TYPE of puzzle consists of two parts. Players must find and highlight each clue in the pair separately. After highlighting both words in the grid, the app will automatically cross that pair off the list.

HIDDEN Puzzles

This challenging collection of puzzles does not show any clues. Players must find words related to the title. The number in parentheses next to the title represents the number of clues hidden in the grid. After highlighting a word in the grid, the app will automatically cross that clue off the list.

NO HARM-NO VOWEL Puzzles

This unique puzzle has removed all the vowels from the clues. The words in the grid include the vowels. Players must decrypt and highlight the clues based on the title of the puzzle. After highlighting a word in the grid, the app will automatically cross that clue off the list.

ONE WORD Puzzles

These are puzzles that contain only one clue. It is found only once in the grid. Note that the entire grid is made up of only the characters in the clue. After highlighting the word in the grid, players will be given the choice to play the NEXT PUZZLE or go back to PUZZLES.

SCRAMBLE Puzzles

Much like the NO HARM-NO VOWEL Puzzles, players must unscramble the clues based on the title. After highlighting a word in the grid, the app will automatically cross that clue off the list.

If players get stuck on a puzzle and cannot find a word in the grid, they have the option of using COINS (located in the top right corner of the game) to HIGHLIGHT WORD or HIGHLIGHT LETTERS (located at the bottom of the puzzle below the clues). If players are out of COINS, they may purchase more by clicking on the COINS icon at the top right corner of the puzzle.
